Edit: I am changing my eating from one star to four after getting a phone call from the manager over the auto center tonight. Who wanted to know how they could improve and keep me as a customer. She was very genuine and I was extremely pleased with her sincerity. I explained how I felt that I think there needs to be more people scheduled at night so that the Sears workers and customers have a more professional relationship. This would prevent the fact that appointment times are not accurate.
I have been going to sears for most of our automotive needs for years. Well, tonight I had an appointment for four o clock, which when I made said I wouldn't be able to make it at four because of where I was coming from the man on the phone said it was fine just as soon as I could get there. Alright great. Well I show up fifteen after four and gave my signature. After an hour of sitting in the waiting room, he comes and tells me that he's sorry for the wait and that they are gonna be getting my car any minute. I had assumed he was coming to tell me they were finished. Mind you I was scheduled at four so this is an hour and a half past my appointment time. Then, after another hour or so I get the privilege of being rung up. There was only two people there when I got there and both were still there when I left. I was there between 2-3 hours for a simple oil change. Will not be going back to sears for anything with our three vehicles.
Where to start? About 2 months ago we took our car there because I work in the mall and it was convenient. We took it to have the power steering pump replaced. Unfortunately, they never even touched it. They broke the valve covers off of my car and then only comped the price of one of them. Sears had my car for OVER a week and never even fixed what I took it there to have done because of their mistakes. The other night, my husband came to pick me up at work and our car broke down, we have full coverage, so they covered the tow and took it to sears, again, because it was convenient. Yesterday morning we called to ask if they could fix our car. They told us that they wouldn't touch it and to have it towed to the Nissan dealership! Are you kidding me? So we used our free tow to take it through the parking lot for us to have to pay even more money to have it towed somewhere else. All that's wrong is our gear shifter. I will never recommend anyone to the sears auto center.
Great customer service. They really went above and beyond to help me out. If I have any other tire care needs I'll be sure to come to this location.
Went in just before Thanksgiving and got oil change, coolant change, and road trip package. Next day on Thanksgiving, car overheated on way to Thanksgiving. After opening radiator , it appears they didn't bleed it at all, and it was over half a gallon low on coolent. Further, when we drained it it appears they only added water... No antifreeze at all. No leaks once we drained it and changed it ourselves. I also explicitly asked them to check the transmission fluid, which they did not do (it was still low). Price was twice what I paid at precision tune. Stay away if you like your car.
I have use Sears most of my life. I always get great work done with them. They are the best people I know to work Car's or Truck's and SUV's as well too. I have move here from Maine. These people knows what to do on the cars, trucks, and SUV. They are always Happy to help you out in anyway they can. I give them 5 Stars for the work they have done, and I tell a lot of my friends and family where to go to get work done on there Car's, or Truck's, or SUV's.
