Sure am glad we found Crowder RV. After our experience with the big corporate RV store in Asheville. We had decided to work with a family owned RV center. We check around in a 150 mile radius and saw a camper at Crowder that fit the ticket for what we wanted.
We made the trip over the mountain and met Lloyd our salesman who was not pushy and showed us everything in our price range. He answered all of our questions honesty even when I tried to set him up already knowing the answers. We settled in on the unit we came to see. We were given a very fair price on the new trailer and a very fair price on our trade in.
We have received terrible service from this place. We ordered a part from this place a month ago. Was told it would come in in 2 weeks. Time went by we didn't hear anything so we stopped by to check on order. We were told that they had received an email needing our vin number which we had given at the time we ordered it. So we call it back in get told that guy was on vacation but he would call him and find out what needs to be done. We asked to be called back to let us know it was ordered. We never received a call back. So today we called to check to see if it had been ordered and we get told oh we just received an email we need your vin number. Wait ummm you told us that same thing two weeks ago. So needless to say we go in to get our money back. I go to parts counter stand there with 2 guys at the counter not one of them recognized that I was even standing there. I was standing right in front of them. One guy turns around and walks away other guy keeps messing with computer. Never once saying I'll be with you in a minute. Nothing so I went back to receptionist and ask for manager. The guy from the counter comes out to me and says I can help you now. I told him I didn't need his help. He could have acknowledged me back there and his comment back was I'm very busy. And walks away. Then comes back with our money. Still had excuses for how he was treating me. Then we tried talking to manager but he got phone call and walked away. We just left.
Kim was a wiz on financing that beat our credit unions rate we have been with for over 25 years. At no time were we ever pushed, talked down to or sold up during the sale process.
My husband and I just got back into camping and we purchased an A Frame camper from Crowder RV Center. The salesman gets an A++. We told him what we were looking for and the price range we wanted be in and he worked with us until we were able to get the camper we wanted. He was professional yet fun to work with. The service department did a few minor repairs after our first trip with it and they went above and beyond to make sure we left happy with our purchase. I recommend Crowder RV Center to anyone who wants a positive experience when shopping for an RV. Doing business with a fair and honest dealer is the only way to come out a winner. Thank You Crowder RV Center. We will be repeat customers for sure!!
On the way home Kim called me to say I left the keys on her desk and was kind enough to bring them to me just short of the NC line in order to save me pulling a 30' plus back into town (Service after the Sale)

Great place to do business with. Staff is very friendly, and willing to go the extra mile to provide a pleasant experience. Would recommend anyone looking to buy a camper to visit Crowder.
I would say with no reservations if you can't work with these people - - you may want to look at yourself.
We have purchased two new travel trailers in the last two years from these folks. They are a Christian based company with fair prices and a good selection of RV's. The service department is easy to deal with. And they stock a good selection of parts and accessories.
