This is our second motorhome that we purchased from A&L RV Sales in Christiana. Our salesman was James Bowman. James was extremely helpful throughout the shopping and buying experience. We were given the opportunity to drive a couple of different motor homes which allowed us to select the one we felt best suited our needs and driving comfort. James went over all the features on both as part of our shopping and buying experience. The dealership prepped the vehicle and the guys in the shop went over everything to make sure we knew how to use all its features. They offered some additional add ons, and got them installed before we took delivery. We now own a 2018 Coachmen Leoprechaun 260DS motor home, and are throughly pleased with our purchase and everyone at A&L we worked with, especially James, our salesman.
We recently purchased a used 2017 Forest River FR3 Class A motorhome from A&L, working with their sales specialist, Amber. Being from out of state, I was somewhat apprehensive but I am very pleased with everything. They were very helpful prior to my arrival and also once I arrived to pick it up. But more importantly, after I picked it up and drove it for 2 days back home, about 2 hours from our house the rubber roof started to separate from the base! I immediately took pictures and sent across to them, worried that I just made the biggest mistake in my life (i didn't buy the extended warranty)! But Amber and A&L were there to help me and worked with Forest River to arrange so I could bring it to a local shop and have the roof repaired, and all covered by FR. So a big thanks to A&L (and Forest River!) for standing behind their sale! Well done!
James was not only helpful and polite but was also very low pressure....taught us a lot about the evolution of RVs over the years...i haven't purchased one yet from them, but I most likely will because of the way we were treated
I purchased a 2017 pop up A frame camper approximately 2 months ago. When we were looking at it in the showroom i pointed out there was a a gap at the top where it fitted together and it was letting light in. The service department and sales associate took pictures and said they would send them to the manufacturer. I pointed it out again when we were inspecting it before we took it home and more pictures were taken and was told it was not leaking. I was told they would get back in touch with me with a resolution. After many calls and no call backs and more run arounds the issue is still not resolved. At this time I am considering taking legal action.
Last camper I will ever purchase from them. Sales great, service stinks. Kept running me in circles until factory warrenty ran out. Lifetime warrenty only covers 4 items at a cost of 180 a year!
