So first off, I will admit I was a bit hesitate about coming here. I'm not a big fan of chain restaurants, but...decided to try it anyways. So my wife, son and myself stopped in for lunch. Immediately we were greeted by a beautiful dessert case 9 all sorts of awesome looking cakes. The hostess was prompt and sat us down pretty quick. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Now to the food.....my son ordered the Organic Strawberry Pecan salad and loved it. All of he ingredients were fresh and crisp. My wife ordered a personal pizza. She also loved it, even eating the crust that she usually hates! Wow!! I ordered a Stromboli with Italian sausage, mushroom and bacon. It was really really good! The crust is exactly what you would want from a real Italian pizza pie joint. The marinara sauce was fresh and hot. Over experience was pretty good. We live near the area and will definitely be trying this place again. Recommend saving room for the awesome looking cakes, canolies or baklava!
One of my most favorite places to dine in the Tri-Cities. Excellent food, good sized portions, lovely atmosphere, and a dessert case to die for. Excellent sangria. Wonderful lattes and coffee drinks. Excellent service. Terrific location. Really truly the total package.
Sadly disappointed. Had heard so many good things that I wanted to try it. I called in an order to pick up, so I could take it home. My $11.99 platter consisted of a 2" x 4" spanakopita and about 1/3 cup of chopped salad. I was charged $4.99 for a salad I thought was a side for this platter. I got hubby a meatball sub with grilled spinach. He didn't like the texture of the meatballs and said it didn't have much flavor. The spinach was okay, but watery. All in all, not worth the $26+ it cost. Made two trips there...my first and my last.
Really upset by the way my son and I were treated by the staff as closing time neared this evening. I recommend this restaurant to many of those I know, and was pretty much treated like a second class citizen as we tried to finish our dinner. The jury is out on whether we will return, but if you're posted hours are until 10 p.m. and folks are still eating, you probably shouldn't continually stare and turn everything off. I guess if we had ordered dessert when our waitress asked, we'd have gotten to eaten it in the dark. Classless tonight!
Love this place. Affordable food with the opportunity to try something new and exciting. Desserts are gorgeous!!
