Good food and nice selection even for a vegetarian. Easy ordering and food was ready in a timely manner.
Best Chinese food I have found. Even during lunch hour, call-in orders are 10 minutes tops. Very little dining room so plan ahead and call in your order to go. I've called in with 8 orders before and it's handled flawlessly.
The food is awesome here. Best kept secret in Johnson City. They use all white meat in their dishes that I've tried such as general Tao's, sesame chicken, orange chicken. Their egg rolls are also second to none. They are always fresh. Service is decent. There is one employee that takes many brakes and will sit at a table near you and play videos on his phone in another language at full blast volume while your trying to eat. It used to annoy me but now I just consider it part of the atmosphere. This place doesn't have a sign that says "China Garden" but they do have a sign with some Chinese symbols. This makes it hard to find if you have never been there.
I walked in at 9pm, 1 hour before they closed. The lady was rude. She was eating at a table so I guess I interrupted her. After I ordered, the rest of the staff came out in the dining area and ate. I looked in the kitchen and wondered who was cooking my food. I heard something beep that sounded like a microwave. The lady then got up and put my food in a bag. Food tasted like it was warmed up as well. I will not go back.
At work we call the place Cheap Chinese. Food is good, cheap, and quick. Best hole in the wall Chinese.
