Great experience during preparation and day of festivities! Stephanie provided great insight/suggestions during wedding planning and was there when you needed her the day of. This is a well organized venue. I highly recommend this venue.
I had my dream wedding at Rose Hill!! It was absolutely beautiful. Planning it was not stress free (I didn't have a wedding planner, I basically did it myself), but Stephanie was extremely patient and understanding with my MANY DETAILED & COMPLICATED needs. The venue is exceptionally gorgeous, both the cathedral and the ballroom. Many guests told me they loved it! I chose Rose Hill because I wanted a church wedding but my church looks like an airport. Rose Hill was the perfect solution. The architecture is gorgeous. I LOVE the ballroom too....that's what sold me. With vaulted ceilings draped with white linen it's much more elegant than a fellowship hall! We maxed out the venue....there had to have been more than 200 there....that was probably the biggest struggle, trimming the guest list. Don't make the mistake I did, MAKE YOUR GUEST LIST BEFORE YOU BOOK A VENUE! 200 sounded like plenty because my husband wanted to go for a smaller wedding and I thought surely I could keep it to 150 but then when I started writing names, I had 300 before I even had put anyone for him on the list! This isn't Rose Hill's fault, just make sure you know that 200 max is enough for you before you book! Saying no to people and cutting the list is hard. It turned out lovely though, Stephanie and Kiwi put out some extra chairs, the reception didn't feel over crowded and I didn't hear about anyone sitting on the floor or anything. Stephanie was there to work with me when I needed her, we met a couple times for me to work things through and Rose Hill did the flowers. Don't get confused between a wedding coordinator and a wedding planner though! Stephanie doesn't plan your wedding. She doesn't come to you when it's time to send save the dates with three options and tell you to pick or plan who the cater will be and what the meal is or anything like that - that's not her job. She's there for you when you need her, but it's a you come to her not her plan for you type of thing for the most part. Stephanie and Kiwi took care making things happening on the reception and wedding day. I needed 2 roses for the giving of roses ceremony and she got them and put them right where I needed to grab them before I went down the isle. I saw in another review it said the Ballroom was hot for the reception. Ours was not, they must have fixed that since then. I mean everyone can get a little heated on the dance floor, but in general it's not hot. They even just installed new insulation literally the day before my wedding, Sunday, July 16 2017. I am giving Rose Hill five stars, which I think is well deserved! However, I will list the minor problems/venue we had to be fair: 1)Venue max which I already described....just make your guest list before you book 2)At some point Stephanie switch phones and so my voice mail to her got lost and she didn't get back with me for like 2 weeks but she was really sorry and her new phone system is much better. 3)This is our fault for not thinking through the math, but it ended up being much more expensive to have a wedding at Rose Hill because the chairs/tables/linens are extra. She was completely transparent with the prices on this from the start, but I would say to you, make sure if you are comparing this venues price to one that includes furniture and linens, calculate it in. The price sounds cheaper than it is because the ballroom part comes empty for that price. (Still, we did the whole wedding for just under 10k by being thrifty, not to bad!) 4) We had a mix up about times and I arrived to decorate the Ballroom and it had not been set up. Stressful but they pulled it together quickly, I adjusted my day & it turned out just fine! CONCLUSION: Some problems are expected in a wedding, most of these were minor all of the ones that mattered were resolved. It's a beautiful venue, the people are good to work with, I had a gorgeous wedding and I am very thankful! Definitely recommend if you want a small-meidum size church wedding in a beautiful church with an elegant reception for a reasonable price!
Rose Hill is an amazingly beautiful place! Stephanie and Todd are wonderful and you couldn't ask for better service and options for your special day. I highly recommend Rose Hill Weddings!!!
Amazing wedding venue. I was looking for a quaint, little chapel to get married in and Rose Hill was perfect. Stephanie literally has an emergency basket with just about anything a bride and her bridesmaids could need the day of. She and Todd were super easy to work with and helped make our wedding day awesome. The reception area was great too. I hardly had to bring in any of my own decorations because they have a few things available for use and everything exceeded my expectations
My Husband and I had our wedding here on June 25, 2017 and it was everything I could imagine. Stephanie was there to help us every step of the way! She checked in often and helped us plan everthing! (We live in Knoxville so big help!) She let me guide all the planning, but was there to help me on the things I didn't know and full of suggestions! Everything was like a dream and I can't imagine anything that could have been better! Wonderful people, beautiful venue, and fair prices for everything you get!
