Nice setting. There is a little stream running through the park with stair case blocks leading down to the water's edge. A walking path circles the park to provide some exercise. There are a couple of areas of open lawn for picnics or kite flying.
Great park for strolling with your pooch. It has a sidewalk that loops around a nicely landscaped creek bed and an open lawn area. At one end is a terraced lawn open air amphitheater where music events and yoga classes are hosted. Several sculptures produced by regional artists adorn the park. It would be perfect if there were shaded areas, but this park is all basked in sunlight.
Lovely park, very close to Yeehaw Brewery and White Duck tacos, with the heart of downtown JC a few short blocks away.
A nice, easy-to-get-to place for walks and group parties. Not very large, but not a bad size. Near a main road, so not the quietest. But I saw lots of dogs, which was probably the best part.
This park is downtown so you have the option of several restaurants nearby and some shops. It has a little amphitheater also.
We liked it, our daughter liked walking on the rocks in the stream.
Great place to go walking or to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Easy walking trail on sidewalks and close to several restaurants.
