The staff was friendly and very accomodating. Surgery went well. Recovery was good. Glad to know that they will inform family where you are in the process via a screen and number, and then speak with the family while you're in recovery to go over instructions.
This center outsources anesthesia services that include an incompetent provider Dr. McVeigh, who during my procedure decided he would do what he wanted instead of what I asked for that was my option as discussed prior to procedure, other than this arrogant fool, this surgery center is very nice. I spoke with the centers administrator who agreed that changes needed to be made , then buried the incident under "peer review" , and still uses this person. If you schedule surgery here, ask who the Anesthesiologist is before you commit unless you want to watch your procedure done and talk with the doc as he cuts into you!
I had outpatient surgery there today. The nurses were wonderful, and all of the staff were professional from the front office on down. Much better than having same day surgery in a hospital. If your doc suggests you have a procedure here, I highly recommend it!
I have had 2 surgeries at Mountain Empire Surgery Center this year. Every staff member, that I, or my family, came in contact with, at this facility, was wonderful! I especially loved nurse Robin. She took care of me in recovery, both times I was there. She went above and beyond to make sure that was very well taken care of.
