We then wait for 20 minutes before a lady calls my son's name to examine his ears. We go into a room and I'm then questioned again about his ear infections. I again explain he has never had an ear infection in his life. Once they check his eardrums, it is time for his test. We are instructed to go into another room across the hall, which is fine. I'm told that there is only one seat and it is for only my some to sit in. I can't wait in the hallway outside the door. I have to go back into another waiting room until the test is finished (which is through another door) might I add that you can easily get outside the office without me seeing him. This made me uncomfortable, but I was assured it would only take a couple minutes. THIRTY minutes later my some was done with his hearing test.

Freedom, choices, highest quality health care, support, rehab, follow-thru.

I highly do not recommend this place. I suggest taking your child or yourself to any other Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist in the area.

I like being talked to and treated like an adult.

Then we are instructed to go back to the main waiting room. After 10 minutes or so the pager went off instructing us to go to a certain exam room. We were greeted by a nice nurse who asked yet again about my son's ear infections. I was then irritated at this point and said he has never had an ear infection in his life. He has had strep throat once and the flu once. He has never been diagnosed with any ear problems at all. So then, we wait for the doctor.

The doctor comes in with an entourage of 3 other people. I'm assuming one was a student or "doctor in training" and the other two were nurses. I had no idea that a hearing test result needed that many people I'm the room. Not only that, but I didn't you needed that many people in the room with an 8 year old boy. Turns out my son can hear perfectly fine.

Went in to have a tonsil stone removed that I haven’t been able to get out and my primary care couldn’t get out. They didn’t do anything but recommend swishing with salt water and hydrogen peroxide which I have already been doing for 2 weeks. Find another place to actually do anything.

The only good thing that came out of this visit was news that my 8 year son could hear perfectly. First, walking into this lobby is chaotic. There is no order to the chaos. The receptionist I checked in with was very sweet, yet I couldn't help but notice that we were checking in at a counter that two other patients can hear everything you are saying, let alone the whole lobby. There is no privacy. I was told my son was there to get his hearing checked because he has had several ear infections. He has never had an ear infection in his life and I corrected her. I was given a pager. Then, I am handed paperwork to fill out, which is normal, but I'm handed a pencil. I am to "bubble in" my answers. It's odd, but I can handle it so far. Once I am done with my son's paperwork, I bring it back to the counter as instructed. I dealt with a different lady this time, since she wasn't taking care of any patients. She was busy typing, so I waited for a minute while being unacknowledged. I said politely "Excuse me, I was told to bring this back up when I finished with the paperwork." I was then greeted with her hand out and no words. I placed the clipboard I'm her hands and waited for a minute and said "You're welcome" quite sarcastically since it seemed this lady had forgotten her manners.

The doctor asks about the ear infections so I tell him the same thing that i have been repeating since I arrived. I told him that this is simply a hearing test because the pediatrician wanted to have him checked due to the fact he has problems focusing at school and wanted to rule it out. Then the doctor suggests a sleep apnea test. I told him my some sleeps just fine. About 9-10 hours each night and sleeps solid. He doesn't wake up randomly or have night scares. Nor does he take naps throughout the day. We were finally sent on our way after 2 hours of unprofessionalism.

The staff was fine, the Doctor [howell] was in such a hurry [ I guess to make his quota], I might as well just paid my copay upfront and left. They should just open a drive through window, you would still get the same service and never leave your car.

Does no one think this is a big deal? My son is small. He is 8 years old and I am leaving him in the hands of people that I have no clue about.

Professional, through evaluations and test before diagnosis is made. Given your options, effectiveness, cost, down time, and you make the best decision based on your life goals - all without any condescending nurses or Doctors talking over your head. There is no 'final answer' and you're out the door. If your choice doesn't work for you, they will be ready to talk to you about next without a bunch of the same test redone. Thwy work with you all the way thru till the end where they can say 'congratulations, if you need us again for anything else, just give us a call. We'll be here.'

Call this facility to request an appointment due to pain in my ear and was told they had no appts. So I requested a call back for an opening appts and they said they couldn't do call backs. Explained to Tonya my situation and she sent me to the triage nurse were I left a voicemail that was never yet been returned. So I called first thing this morning (8:30 AM) and was told they could work me in at 4:40pm and no earlier due to my situation that I explained I had been seen at a walk-in for the pain and was told I had a TM perforation and an infection and they wanted me seen by my ENT due to my past ear surgeries. Though, I got a voicemail at 2:15pm saying I needed to be there by 3:50pm and so I called Tonya back at 2:30 to inform her that wasn't possible because I had to request what time I would be missing work and that I couldn't be there till 4:40. She informed me that her supervisor who's name started with a D said that would be fine. I arrived 7mins late due to a wreak and was told I would have to reschedule because I was "30 mins late" and that I needed a hearing test. I explained to them my pain and that I just wanted to see the Dr to possibly get an anobotic for the infection and was told no, that I'd have to reschedule. This office is the WORST DOCTOR office, terrible waiting time, terrible phone communication, terrible manners, terrible management! You'd think after them repairing my eardrum, tubes and everything else they could get me in but HELL NO!
